About Boundless Corp (AMEX:BND)

Boundless Corporation (AMEX:BND) through its subsidiaries -- Boundless Technologies, Inc., Boundless Manufacturing Services, Inc., and Merinta Inc. -- provided text and thin client terminals, manufacturing services, and software for the Internet Appliance ("IA") market. Boundless Technologies manufactured computer terminals and thin client devices enabling access to applications and data, including Windows and legacy applications on mainframes, mid-range, and Unix systems. In 1994, BND purchased Applied Digital Data Systems, Inc. ("ADDS") from NCR Corporation ("NCR"). ADDS changed its name to SunRiver Data Systems, Inc. and, in 1996, to Boundless Technologies, Inc. In October 1995, Boundless Technologies acquired assets of Digital Equipment Corporation ("DEC") sold under the VT and Dorio brands. Boundless Technologies manufactures the VT and Dorio product lines at its plant in Hauppauge, New York. Merinta created software and operated infrastructure for Internet Appliances ("IA"). Customers used Merinta's Remote Device Management and Services, professional services, and IA Client Software to deliver tailored applications and services to their end users. Merinta's client solution, built upon the Linux operating system, supported a wide range of IAs, including Web Terminals, Tablets, and Set-Top Boxes. In, 2000, Merinta received a $5,000,000 equity investment from National Semiconductor Corporation. As part of the agreement, Merinta developed and optimized its solutions for hardware platforms based on National's Geode technologies, while National bundled Merinta's technology into development kits sold to OEMs. In 2003, BND filed for protection under Chapter 11. In 2006, the assets of Boundless Technologies were purchased by Vision Technologies, Inc. Additionally, in 2006, Boundless Corporation completed an Exchange Transaction, acquiring Advancetech BVI.
