Boutique Academia's Science Jewelry

Hi! I'm Maile Urbancic, founder of Boutique Academia. Let me tell you a little about our science jewelry studio and how we got started. I am a former math major, and lover of all things STEM. Back in 2010 I noticed that there were very few science themed accessories designed specifically for women, and so I decided to change that. I've been designing beautiful, unique pieces that highlight the beauty of knowledge and the scientific world ever since. In the past decade Boutique Academia has grown significantly and we now retail and wholesale worldwide and to many of the largest science museums in the US. However, we still deliberately keep our pricing to be affordable for everyone from students to teachers to grandparents buying gifts. We carry a variety of anatomical heart, neuron, and serotonin designs that appeal to a wide range of people. We also offer a unique collection of space themed jewelry. In the past decade I have watched in delight as the world has become increasingly enthusiastic about science, and particularly regarding women in STEM.
