BOUWEN was founded by Michelle Hollenbach in 2018 with the mission of becoming an Engineering focused, -insurance, risk management and training HUB.
A well-thought-out conglomerate of services have been established, based on current market, product, broker, client and regulatory needs.

Michelle has divided the company into three different divisions:

(I) Underwriting
Specialist insurance industry is not broker or client friendly. More so, it is not SMME friendly.
Even though on a “lip-servicing” level, the current market would have you believe there is a home for the broker placing his medium sized client’s specialised insurance with a market, the reality is that there really isn’t any assistance for these brokers or clients. BOUWEN was founded to target this market:
BOUWEN focuses on providing end to end services for brokers and clients, not only in terms of the product, but the comparative offering in the market as well.

Our training academy strives to provide relevant, interesting and condensed training to our partners. Self-regulation and improvement is key to our operations.
