Bowan

The Bowan Island story starts in 1938. Our founder returns from his travels in the Pacific Northwest, bringing back with him our sourdough starter that was gifted to him. He begins baking & coffee and opens Bowan’s first stall at the Rozelle Markets in Sydney, Australia. We take pride in being the original artisan bakehouse & café in Australia. Our premium products have been receiving great support at Harris Farms Market, QE Foods, IGA, Woolworths and internationally in Singapore, Shanghai, Bangkok and Seoul, and more.
