BPG Shipping

BPG Shipping has been incorporated in Dubai, UAE in 2017 with the purpose of operating dry cargo vessels with particular focus on the Handysize, Supramax and Panamax market sectors. The company has been setup by owners of big logistic company with 25 years presence on the market and Gennadiy Ivanov who had 20+ background in the shipping industry both at a senior management level and co-owner / managing director of reputable shipping companies (his last position was head of chartering in Phaethon Int since company establishment in 2008). In 2020 in order to take advantage of opportunities in the growing dry bulk market BPG Shipping and industrial company Liberty, UK (company within the structure of GFG Alliance, UK ) created JV under brand ‘Kronos Bulkers’. All chart&ops staff of BPG Shipping joined Kronos Bulkers accordingly. From 01.04.2022 the JV ‘Kronos Bulkers’ of BPG Shipping and Liberty is officially ended under mutual consent (BPG Shipping was established in 2017 but entered in such JV in 2020). The Odessa office chartering and operations team of Kronos Bulkers re-joined BPG Shipping accordingly. On 22.07.2022 BPG Shipping completed registration of the office in Greece in partnership with Alexandros Chasapodimos (Chasapodimos family has more than 30 years experience in the shipping industry, as owners and managers). By establishing office in Greece in partnership with Greek ship-owner BPG Shipping is able to provide our potential partners and clients with option of full management of the vessels (both commercial and technical), ship finance arrangement and professional support in ship investment projects. In August, 2022 established the representative office in Hong Kong, managed by Michael Watson. In May, 2023 established the representative office in New Delhi, India, managed by Nitin Pancholi.
