PT Bukit Pembangkit Innovative

PT Bukit Pembangkit Innovative (PT BPI) was established in August 2007 as a consortium involving three companies: PT Bukit Asam (PTBA), PT PLN Nusantara Power (PLNNP), and PT Navigat Innovative Indonesia (NII). The company operates as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) specializing in electricity generation. Currently, the company oversees the Banjarsari Steam Power Plant with a capacity of 2x135 MW, situated in Desa Sirah Pulau and Desa Gunung Kembang, Kecamatan Merapi Timur, Kabupaten Lahat, South Sumatra. The Representative Office is located at Graha Surveyor, 17th floor, Jalan Gatot Subroto Kavling 56, South Jakarta. The construction of PLTU Banjarsari commenced in 2012, was completed in mid-2015, and commercially operated since July 2015. With an environmentally friendly Circulated Fluidized Bed Boiler (CFB) technology, the 2x135 MW PLTU Banjarsari contributes to sustainable energy production.
