We aim to bring accuracy, clarity and transparency to placement experiences and ultimately support the best outcomes possible for young people.
bPlaced is an online platform designed to streamline the process of placing children into suitable care/fostering placements. The father-daughter co-founding team have a combined experience of 47 years in social care and childcare, as well as personal experience for Roxy as a child in care. We address the needs of local authority and care providers, by offering efficiency, accuracy, and simplicity in managing bed availability and placements in real time.
Young people are at the centre of this process, utilising innovative processes designed to help minimise the trauma of moving home. Our platform will allow young people to see the provisions and where applicable will be able to provide young people some level of autonomy in where they go, before they arrive, along with how well homes can support their needs.
We also intend to offer more choice to local authorities, and encourage placements, homes and carers to both improve their standards of care and the living environment they offer to young people, and importantly showcase and shout about the amazing care that is offered by so many. The platform is designed with high cyber security at its heart to protect sensitive data, and increase value and support to our community consistently.
