Publishers and Publications Board of Universitas Gadjah Mada

Universitas Gadjah Mada’s Publishers and Publications Board, or commonly known as Badan Penerbit dan Publikasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (BPP UGM) is a supporting unit for publishing as University’s Tridharma (Education, Research, and Community Service). Established since February 2015, the objective is to encourage and support the academicians’ publication work in international scientific journals. BPP also together with UGM Press as an academic publisher in UGM. We lead to expanding the global reach of UGM scholars. The International Conference on Science and Technology (ICST), the International Conference on South East Asia Studies (ICSEAS), the International Conference on Tropical Agriculture (ICTA), the International Conference on Health Sciences (ICHS), the International Conference on Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, and Biomedical Engineering (BioMIC), and the International Conference on Smart and Innovative Agriculture (ICoSIA) are parts of UGM Annual Scientific Conferences (UASC) which organized by BPP UGM. Since 2023, this support unit has been separated into two directorates. Sub-division of Scientific Publication and Sub-division of Scientific Journal are joined in the Directorate of Research under the Sub-directorate of Scientific Publications and Intellectual Property. Meanwhile, UGM Press has turned into a separate support unit under the coordination of the Directorate of Business Development.
