We advocate for the rights and prosperity of all people with intellectual disabilities and autism along with their families and whānau. Brackenridge is proud to offer mana enhancing support across Canterbury and the wider Te Waipounamu, South Island, New Zealand. Our teams are focused on supporting people to live meaningful lives of their choice. Our community is vibrant and diverse, with support offered to over 200 people ranging in age from 7 to 70 years. We’re focused on what we can do together! By building relationships based on respect, dignity, and consent, we support people to live meaningful lives of their choice. Our teams are committed to exploring what’s necessary for people and their whānau to choose their path and pave their own way in life. Acknowledging that everyone’s circumstances are different, our support can range from supporting people who live independently, as well as those who require more intensive support arrangements. We advocate for people with high and complex requirements and offer comfortable whānau-inclusive living environments that support different abilities. Our support is tailored to meet the requirements and goals of individuals and their whānau, aligned with the national disability approach - Enabling Good Lives - www.enablinggoodlives.co.nz.
