My name is Bradley Werrell. I'm a physician (D.O.), entrepreneur and creator on a mission to help doctors and the public create a healthier world and more affordable healthcare.
I am the creator of WELLSPRING and the BEST MEDICINE Podcast, with far more projects on the way.
I am a lover of wisdom, of history, of living an upstanding life, of pursuing excellence, family (being a father and husband is an honor only superseded by what follows), and a Christian.
By profession I am a doctor. As such, I have taken an oath - maybe you've heard of it! It's called the Hippocratic Oath, and it was first uttered by Hippocrates, the most famous Greek healer, and the founder of the discipline we call "Medicine." Every healer who worked for Hippocrates was to say it, and every doctor now must vow to live by the spirit of this law.
The part everybody has heard, "Do No Harm," is the part that is first and foremost to me. We are not in my doctor's office, and the writings/podcasts found on this site are NOT Medical Advice, nor are they to be taken as such.
I'm the host of the BEST MEDICINE Podcast, which you can find on this site, and on all major social media @bradleywerrell -- BEST MEDICINE is a weekly exploration of how we might create a new paradigm of health, for ourselves and families, but also for our society. All too often the questions of health don't start until a patient winds up in front of a practitioner. But questions of human health and happiness can be asked as we plan cities, design products, go about our careers, draft policy, and act as citizens. Each week, I dive in deep with experts from different industries to pull out the best ideas about how we may heal and strengthen our selves and our world.
