Child Mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, behavioral disorders and developmental disorders are a concern worldwide and Odisha is no exception. Factors such as poverty, limited access to health care, social stigma, and exposure to adversity can contribute to the prevalence of mental health issues among children in the region. Along with mental health issues, the importance of brain development during childhood cannot be overstated as it lays foundation for a child’s lifelong learning, behavior and overall-well-being. Prioritizing brain development in childhood is essential for ensuring that every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential and lead a healthy, fulfilling life. Recognizing the importance of brain development in this critical period, Feel Alive in collaboration with Community Foundation of India (CFI) is going to start a therapeutic unit cum brain development center in Bhubaneswar, Odisha which is dedicated to offering a range of services tailored to nurture every aspect of a child’s growth and potential. It is the center where we capitalize the strength of the child instead of encouraging the compliments of the parents. The primary objective of the center is to create a nurturing and stimulating environment those fosters a child’s intellectual, social and emotional growth.
