At YSD, we collaborate with both duty bearers and rights holders to enhance the quality of life for marginalized communities, with a focus on governance and entitlements. Our interventions span vital sectors such as health, education, water, sanitation, housing, and climate change resilience. *Our Stakeholders:* We prioritize the needs of resource-poor and marginalized groups, particularly Dalit and Adivasi children, youth, and women, recognizing their agency in shaping their own futures. *Approach:* We adopt a multi-faceted approach that involves mobilizing communities to access essential services, empowering them through capacity-building initiatives, and advocating for policy changes at the local level. *Vision:* Our vision is to foster a just, equitable, and sustainable society where every individual enjoys social, economic, and democratic rights, and is empowered to realize their fullest potential with dignity. *Mission:* YSD is dedicated to facilitating holistic and sustainable social and economic development for marginalized communities across urban and rural Odisha.
