Social Impact and Development Communication Centre (SIDC) is a nonprofit organisation that is committed to empowering and supporting nonprofits with the essential and critical communication skills to support their efforts in driving change and development in their communities. The Social Impact and Development Communication Centre exists to enhance the capacity of individuals, organizations and communities to effectively share their experiences and perspectives on issues of social change; to facilitate knowledge sharing among its groups; to provide training for public relations practitioners in Africa through a co-learning, non-formal, sustainable approach. Our vision is a world where the voices of communities are heard and included in decision-making on the Global stage. We partner with communities worldwide to apply communication, new media and technology strategies for social change and development. We offer capacity development and training initiatives in three primary areas of focus: non-profit capacity development, technology adoption, advocacy and public engagement.
