Brain Battle

The Brain Battle project is centered on the study of observed and recorded neural activity in Martial Arts performers, with the aim of reaching meaningful conclusions that can be used to enhance training and performance through repeated feedback. The observation, recording and analysis of brain activity is done by using a specialized headband and compatible software, with the help of volunteers who are experienced martial artists from the MMA club on campus. The study is also made possible through consultation with experts from the field of Neuroscience. The project also seeks to collaborate with professional martial artists off-campus. Brain Battle has been active since Fall, October 2022, and is set to continue with activities in Spring 2023, as it recruits more members.
