Brainchild is dedicated to the research and development of new and emerging technologies that offer innovative solutions for a variety of industries. Our main focus is to develop or utilize existing technologies in new ways that can be utilized by those looking for effective solutions for their industry/business needs while also providing significant cost savings. Our industries of interest include emergency response systems, geomatics, drone mapping, surveys, and inspections. The potential uses of Next Gen Geomatics are wide ranging and will be explored commercially after our current Next Gen 911 project has been completed.
At present we are in the first phase of development of our Next Generation 911 system that was initially conceived to address North America's growing opioid overdose epidemic. This system will be able to call for help for those experiencing a potentially fatal overdose from a wide range of substances. With up to 70% of overdose deaths occurring in single family homes where users are alone and experience a potentially fatal overdose and are unable to call for help. This technology can and will save countless lives and has the potential to significantly reduce the cost that a significant or fatal overdose can incur on the health care system, government ministries, as well as within the insurance sector by avoiding potentially costly insurance payouts. If this technology is embraced and used as directed you will greatly increase your chance of surviving a potentially fatal overdose.
The research at Brainchild is highly inspired from my studies in Human and Physical Geography as well as my time spent as an earthworks surveyor in Cold Lake, Alberta during the construction of Exxon Mobil / Imperial Oil's Nabiye project. These experiences have influenced my interests and with Brainchild I have the freedom to pursue projects I'm highly passionate.
