The Brakemen Foundation was established in 2012 as a nonprofit organization focused on helping children in Calgary and the surrounding area. Our initial mandate was to provide life essentials like food, shelter and proper education.
Since our inception we have raised much needed funds by promoting charitable events, reflected in our our western roots, which has allowed us to support charities that met our mandate. In 2016, we took this passion one step further with the creation of Zero Hungry Kids.
