Branch Venture Group is the largest US-based angel network investing exclusively in food-related startups. The BVG investment network provides funding and advice to early-stage food companies. We focus on investments in food and beverage CPG, foodtech, and agtech spaces including food and beverage products, digital content and media, e-commerce and marketplace platforms, direct to consumer, agriculture technology, industry robotics, restaurant technology, and related life sciences.
Branch Venture Group provides a number of opportunities and activities for our angel network members. We host meetings where entrepreneurs are invited to pitch their business plans and products. We organize educational opportunities for our members to learn more about angel investing and host expert sessions with industry leaders to offer investment and category insights. Branch Venture Group members are also invited to all Branchfood events. As a group, we aspire to lead the early-stage investment activity in food nationwide.
Our angel network consists of individual investors interested in achieving superior returns by financing privately held companies at an early stage of development. We seek a diverse, active member base from a variety of backgrounds and professions but with a common interest in high-growth food-related businesses. Branch Venture Group is also connected to early-adopters, strategic customers, service providers, partners, and follow-on sources of financing. It is this network that we leverage to support our portfolio investments in accelerating their goals and milestones.
Our primary focus is investing in entrepreneurs raising between $500K - $3MM with the capacity to syndicate larger opportunities through other networks and venture firms. Our members sit on company boards, help recruit new members, develop strategic partners, refine product and go-to-market strategies, and help companies raise subsequent rounds of funding.
