BrandsRock (Pty) Ltd was founded by Mike Joubert in Sept 2009. It was a through-the-line brand solutions agency with offices in Cape Town & Johannesburg. They operated with a team of over 40 experienced, skilled individuals who understood business, brands, strategy and the best creative marketing programs needed to deliver results - be it sales or equity or both. The BrandsRock Group serviced a portfolio of blue chip clients with four integrated offerings - marketing & brand strategy; creative design & advertising; full digital engagement and shopper marketing & experiential brand activations through their amp ACTIVATIONS division. The delivery of their work was rooted in a solid project management methodology. BrandsRock was also the only full specialist music-marketing agency in South Africa. They provide a simple, effective way in which to negotiate brand partnerships and match clients with like-minded artists through branded events and festivals. In delivering the best brand-solutions, BrandsRock sometimes collaborated with specialist partners geared to execute against specific client needs. Their clients included: Harley-Davidson®, KWV, eBucks, Jose Cuervo Tequila, Nando's, Seartec, 466/64 Fashion, Isotherm, Vukani, Puma, B-Well Canola Oil, Brandhouse, Touchlab, Vodacom, Haier, Rolling Stone Magazine & Kiehl's. BrandsRock was acquired by the Publicis Groupe in 2014 to form Saatchi & Saatchi Brandsrock. Became Saatchi & Saatchi South Africa in 2017.
