About BrashPower
We are a team of seasoned professionals and young engineers poised to become the market leader in a multi-billion dollar untapped U.S. market, with similar opportunities worldwide. We founded BRASH after successfully obtaining our first federal SBIR contract in 2010 (through our friends at BKi of Oakland CA). Vehicle propulsion was the focus of that first funded effort, and the second Phase II SBIR (2012-2014), but high entry barriers in that market suggested we were better off pivoting to fixed combined heat and power (CHP) systems for homes and businesses. We still maintain a strong interest in that vehicle market, but our focus now is on stationary installations of micro-CHP (m-CHP) systems providing power in the 1-25 kW range A BRASHPower unit can convert heat to power, enabling homeowners and small businesses to generate their own power on premises to reduce their energy cost, and their carbon footprint, while increasing service reliability. Our patented air-steam hybrid technology can be installed as an accessory to an existing heating system, or as a turn-key, micro-combined heat and power (mCHP) system. Government and the power industry have identified "distributed generation," or DG, as the key to increased grid reliability and resiliency. We believe BRASH could help that effort, one homeowner or business at a time. As we move toward early stage production, we’re seeking investors, partners in the HVAC space (installers or OEMs), and early-stage customers (per S. Blank’s MVP).
