In the port of Vlissingen (Flushing), part of Zeeland Seaports, an experienced terminal dedicated to the offshore (wind) industry is operational since 2010. This terminal with a surface of 25 Ha and a heavy load quay length of 525 meters is excellently situated at the North Sea coast at the mouth of the Western Scheldt river with direct access to open sea, without interference of locks or bridges. The harbour entrance is 250 metres wide with a depth of 11,5 metres LLWS.
Our terminal & crew is available to operate 24 hrs, 7 days a week upon Client request . Additional to the mentioned BOW quay, an extra quay length of 1400 meters is available for layby or mobilization activities.
Our key focus is long term commitment towards the offshore (wind) industry. We can provide the facilities and necessary equipment at a unique location for all preparative activities for final construction and maintenance of offshore wind parks. As Bow Terminal will be available for these activities in the long term, we highly encourage intensive partnerships.
BOW Terminal can offer several in-house services, such as port-agency and chartering, employment agency, inland barging, truck- and rail transport, lashing, delashing, packing, repacking, securing services and custom formalities.
