The Breaking Boundaries Foundation’s mission is to empower youth, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, to learn breaking as a lifelong activity. We strive to provide an escape, a sense of accomplishment, and a community where boundaries, both in dance and in life, are meant to be broken.
“Breaking” has a dual meaning for us. We’re here to enable youth to not only master Breaking, but also breakthrough the socio-economic and personal obstacles they may face.
Breaking Boundaries Foundation (BBF) empowers youth through the art of breakdancing, offering a wide range of community programs that promote physical activity, personal development, and a sense of community.
- Our Afterschool Programs provide breakdancing lessons to foster creativity, collaboration, and build character.
- Growth Mindset Shows blend interactive performances with talks on resilience and personal growth at schools.
- The Massive Break Challenge offers a platform for the next generation to compete in an exhibition style format competition. Open Sessions provide a supportive environment for dancers/students to train, build community, and receive guidance from expert coaches.
