Breakingwave Services is providing engineering services in marine engineering and naval architecture with a strong focus on:
- Naval Architecture: Stability, Inclining test, Surveys, hull shape, propulsion, lightweight.…
- Vessel stability, intact and damage (including probabilistic) with Napa
- Structural Engineering: Finite element analysis, Ultimate Limit State, Accidental Limit State, Fatigue Limit State
- Hydrodynamics: seakeeping (accelerations and motions), wave loads, towing operations
- Mooring and anchoring: Mooring system proposal, Mooring calculations
We are 5 engineers and we have two draftmen working for us part time.
We are performing our calculations and analysis using the following software we have in house:
- HYDROSTAR, from the BUREAU VERITAS: Seakeeping (RAO’s, drift forces…), hydrodynamics, wave loads
- NAPA: Hull form and stability
- VERISTAR STABILITY, from the BUREAU VERITAS: Stability
- VERISTAR HULL(powered by FEMAP & NASTRAN), RDM 6 and MARS for structural calculations
- ARIANE, from the BUREAU VERITAS: Mooring and berthing analysis
- ORCAFLEX: Vessel and mooring line dynamics, marine operations, seakeeping
- RHINO/ORCA3D: 3D CAD
- AUTOCAD: 2D CAD
