Breakthrough brings together high-achieving students from schools across the Fort Worth area and pairs them with like-minded, aspiring classroom leaders from across the nation! A leader in education equity, Breakthrough provides access and opportunity to students from under-resourced communities who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education. Even in a system where obtaining a quality education has, for too long, been determined by economic access and bias over ability, Breakthrough students gain resources and knowledge to bridge the gap and achieve their goals. Breakthrough works with them to structure their own college-bound path while also developing college and high school youth for classroom leadership. By employing a students-teaching-students model, it ensures learning and guidance for students as well as an immersive pre-professional teaching experience for its diverse pool of teaching leaders.
