Breakthrough Health (Acquired by Mymee)

Breakthrough Health was a Berlin-based digital health startup, that was acquired by Mymee (https://www.mymee.com/) in 2022. We were a diverse team driven by a desire to use technology, data, and design to have a positive impact on the lives of people living with chronic disease. Our first product, 'Emilyn', was the #1 ranked and rated app for Multiple Sclerosis on iOS and Android, reaching 60,000 patients around the world. We won EIT Health's "Startups Meet Pharma" MS Challenge in 2021, and entered into a commercial partnership with a top 10 pharma company. We also won the award for 'Outstanding Innovation in Digital Health' at London's CogX Awards 2019. We were voted as finalists at The Europa's awards ceremony as "Hottest Healthtech Startup", as well as by HealthTech Forward for best global mHealth solution.
