Rebirthing breathwork, also called 'conscious connected breathing', is a breathing technique in which you make contact with the divine life energy within yourself.
Rebirthing is so much more than a breathing technique, it makes it possible to use the power of your own breath to bring healing on a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual level.
Your breath is inextricably linked to your life: it is always there. How you breathe says a lot about how you are doing. If you are afraid or startled, hold your breath. When you are angry, your breathing quickens.
Your breath is directly connected to your feelings, as humans we control our feelings with our breath. We cannot process emotions or feelings that we suppress with our breath. Your breathing brings you into contact with emotions and memories, especially when they are unprocessed or suppressed, allowing you to process and release them.
With Rebirthing you can break through a controlled or forced breathing pattern in a loving and gentle way and with it the blockages, repressed emotions or patterns that no longer serve you. By 'learning' to breathe and feeling safe in breathing, you learn (again) to live freely and relaxed.
