Brendani Space

Brendani Space is a student-led aerospace team designing an advanced spacecraft for an interstellar comet interceptor mission. Brendani's Interstellar Comet Interceptor (ICI) will be capable of intercepting and studying a comet entering the solar system from interstellar space — one of the rarest and most scientifically valuable opportunities in deep space exploration. We're not stopping there! After rendezvous with the interstellar object, the ICI will continue it's journey toward the heliopause boundary to collect data on the edge of our solar system. This makes the Brendani ICI a dual purpose mission - conducting novel research, as well as building on the legacy of missions like Voyager and New Horizons. Our Mission To engineer a high-performance, reliable spacecraft capable of intercepting and collecting scientific data from an interstellar comet, and then continuing on to explore the outer limits of our solar system. We're responsible for the entire design, including propulsion, guidance, navigation and control (GNC), communications, power, structures, thermal management, and scientific payload integration. We're not just designing a spacecraft, we're opening a window to the unknown.
