While the business was started in 2010, our family ties to this community go back to 1925. William Cooper Depfer bought his house that year from a nearby mill for $5. His son, Ray Depfer, and close family friends, Julia and Lex Davis (mother and son) started this family business together in 2010 to renovate the long neglected homes. William Cooper's original house has never been sold and recently had a full renovation.
Currently under the management of Baltimore native Lex Davis, he and the whole company remain committed to serving Brick Hill and all of Baltimore. We continue to strive for smart, equitable growth that is bold, fun, and respectful. Brick Hill Properties wants to create positive, vibrant spaces where anyone can gather and no one wants to leave.
