Brida Town is a privately run, membership-based community designed to help people practise English through meaningful, real-world conversation. Built on our own platform, Brida is not a course or language school—it’s a virtual town with conversation cafés, creative spaces, and themed community hubs where people from around the world explore language in context, not isolation. 🗺️ Headquartered in Cleebourg, France, and co-curated from Johannesburg, South Africa, Brida is the work of Frank, a veteran English communication specialist with over 30 years of experience, and Janita, a creative, thoughtful educator and designer. Together, they lead live sessions, mentor members, and help the community grow—organically and with care. 💬 Our philosophy: Language is learned through *people*, not perfection. Through stories, not systems. And through community, not competition. At Brida, members choose conversation topics each month—from well-being and food to travel, technology, and identity. Events like Lunch with Janita & Frank offer a relaxed, smart, and structured way to practise English every week in a globally diverse group.
