Bridge a Life

At Bridge a Life, we provide hope to vulnerable children along with support and education for the foster and adoptive families who are committed to love them. Not everyone is called to be a foster or adoptive parent, but we think everyone has something to offer. Your support and involvement will help provide for children who have been abused, abandoned, orphaned, or neglected so that they are loved in fully-equipped families, bringing about healing and generational change. Locally, Bridge a Life has strong community partnerships with lead child welfare and adoption agencies, and supports families by filling gaps where services are not available. Ongoing local initiatives include respite care, meal delivery, home improvements, and counseling/support groups. In addition, Bridge a Life offers awareness events and training, helping to generate more safe homes for vulnerable children in our community of Sarasota, Manatee, and DeSoto counties.
