Bridge for Cities

Since the inception in 2016, the "Bridge for Cities" initiative has grown into an influential flagship initiative of UNIDO with global reach for inclusive and sustainable urban development. It is dedicated to providing a city-centric and open platform for urban officials and stakeholders worldwide to share success stories and challenges, identify replicable solutions, unleash the potential of multilateral collaboration, and ultimately upscale the sustainable development capacities of cities. Consisting of annual forum-styled main events plus side events to ensure year-round engagement opportunities, the initiative contributes to the accelerated implementation of SDGs by empowering cities as key local actors.
