Bringing people together in for honest political dialogue that values people over politics. Award-winning University of Pittsburgh Chapter of BridgeUSA, established in 2020. BridgeUSA is a student-run organization with dozens of chapters across the country along with chapters in Europe and Africa as well. Bridge’s overarching mission is to break down the barriers that divide us and build bridges that aid in productive and solution-oriented dialogue. We pride ourselves in the three pillars of Bridge, which is viewpoint diversity, responsible discourse, and solution-oriented dialogue. We achieve our mission by creating productive conversations and places where students can exchange ideas, allow for empathetic discussion, and provide a free marketplace of ideas. Bridge also hosts speaking and dialogue events with renowned speakers from across the globe. In the current climate of extreme partisanship, it is important to know there is another path – one that builds a bridge among us all.
