Bridget founded the Bridget B Foundation in 2004, a charitable organization dedicated to creating awareness & resources on reproductive health care issues for women with emphasis on providing practical support for women living with HIV/AIDS, and currently serves as its Executive Director.
The foundation's work has focused on counseling for women at all stages of HIV, as they deal with the many ramifications of the diagnosis – ranging from difficulty in accessing healthcare, to widespread stigma still attached to the condition.
Bridget has also served as a Los Angeles County Commissioner for HIV since 2015 and as Co-Chair of the Commission since 2020.
