Bridging Generations

Bridging Generations is a heritage consultancy offering solutions that respect the past, move the present, and inspire the future. We provide research and curatorial services across diverse mediums including workshops, exhibitions, talks, festivals, and new product development. At the core of our work is the view of seniors as assets, rather than liabilities, to be unlocked for future generations via innovative mediums and authentic storytelling. Our flagship programmes include True Origins SG, an immersive cultural, culinary, and community experience co-led with seniors empowered to share recipes, personal stories, and even their lesser-known “superpowers”. Recently, we published a book and academic paper about the long-forgotten Qixi Festival (七夕节, "wish upon the stars festival") in Singapore including oral history interviews conducted with over 50 aged stakeholders. Subsequently, we organised the inaugural Qixi FestTM in 2023, with the support of the Singapore Tourism Board and over 50 organisations, attracting close to 40,000 local and international visitors.
