Brief was conceptualized by Kevin Ubilla in his UC Berkeley dorm room after an incident where a co-worker created drama over a post he had previously uploaded. He contemplated if it was even possible to share on social media while maintaining work separate from personal life. With Brief, you have 6 separate news feeds, one for each tier of friendship.
