Bright English Medium School

Bright English Medium School is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) established in 2003 as an educational center in the rural Maasai area of Loliondo, in northern Tanzania. The project was founded with the purpose of providing quality education and the best possible living conditions to children from the community who live in poverty. It is our vision that the students and their families will be inspired to attain their full potential and get the necessary educational foundation to reach social and economic independence through our work. Thus, Bright English Medium school is a private school which teaches students only in the English language. On top of providing general education, we run a health and education program that is dedicated to tackling the inherent health and cultural issues our Maasai community faces, such as HIV/AIDS and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).
