Sometimes using traditional evaluation methods, like surveys or interviews, feels like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole.
They just don’t work.
There can be lots of different reasons for this…. they might feel tedious and extractive, leading to disengagement or lack of interest in evaluation activities. Then there are practical issues like literacy challenges and language barriers. Sometimes traditional methods just aren’t appropriate.
So, Bright Impact CIC is on a mission to cultivate joy and creativity in evaluation. We want to celebrate diverse ways of knowing, being and doing evaluative work. To achieve this, we’ll be offering training, programmes, and bespoke consultancy aimed at those who want to build their knowledge, skills and confidence using creative methods.
As a CIC, we also want to make a positive contribution to the world! As part of our own social impact, we’ll be providing opportunities for people from diverse backgrounds to work in evaluation-related careers. Watch this space for more about our plans!
