Bright Promises Foundation sparks positive change in Chicagoland communities by investing in our future - our children and youth. Our mission is to identify, fund, and share solutions to underrecognized needs of children and youth most adversely impacted by inequity. Our vision is for a Chicagoland where all children and youth reach their full promise and potential. Bright Promises Foundation focuses on the early identification and response to urgent, underrecognized needs of Chicago-area children and youth. Bright Promises works with community organizations, service providers, parents, caregivers, and individual experts to support the creation and expansion of in-school and after-school programs that are results-driven, sustainable, and demonstrably improve the lives and futures of young people in Chicagoland. Bright Promises is committed to ensuring that our programs, practices, and policies are grounded in racial and economic justice. Our investments go beyond supporting individual programs or organizations. Through ongoing collaboration and evaluation, Bright Promises identifies and shares promising practices that advance forward-thinking and impactful approaches to serving children and youth, with the goal of driving change in the systems that create the issues Bright Promises and our community partners are working to address.
