Our tutors are motivated, well-rounded individuals. Where many students tend to be 'educated out' of their innate intellectual creativity by their mainstream education, we foster a curiosity to help them get beyond their textbooks.
Bright Young Things Tuition was born in 2007. Malachy Guinness and Woody Webster were working for one of London's most prestigious tuition agencies when they realised that they had something different to offer. They and their friends were young and dynamic; their friendly and enthusiastic approach to tutoring was proving more popular than they could handle. Malachy had just graduated with a degree in Biology from Christ Church, Oxford and Woody had begun studying for his masters in a PGCE at Oxford.
Armed with a burgeoning reputation for effective and empathetic tutoring, and an address book full of the brightest minds from Oxford and Cambridge, Malachy and Woody set out to create a bright new tutor organisation whose friendly erudition, enthusiasm and encouragement would become infectious and prove a hit with students both in the UK and further afield.
Bright Young Things has now opened several tuition centres across the UK. These centres cater for children aged 5-18 of all abilities. We focus on fun, engaging and interactive lessons to build confidence and focus on exam preparation.
