Brigid McLaughlin is a fashion brand that is renowned for its artistic signature, natural quality fabrications and sustainable practices. Launched in 2006 the brand found immediate success wholesaling to Australia and New Zealand’s leading boutiques.
The brand is a leader in the sustainable fashion industry and is carefully managed to ensure that ethical practice is taken through all aspects of the business. All our collections are developed with a sustainable approach. We choose to run small production runs to reduce waste and give our customer a unique garment. Where possible, zero waste pattern cutting will be used and if not we recycle our off cuts for other uses.
The mainline collection, Brigid McLaughlin, is designed and created for the individual who appreciates effortless style with a modern, unique design edge. The collection is proudly made in Sydney. For us, it is very important to support the local manufacturing industry through producing the collection in Sydney. It also provides our customers with something of excellent, Australian quality.
In 2009, the resort wear collection Porcelain was founded. The collection is designed, pattern made and graded in Australia; then handcrafted in India. We are very passionate about working and investing in India. Few cultures have such rich textile and craft heritage. We only work with very trusted and proven craftspeople and mills. We ensure our suppliers do not use child labour and provide their workers with safe working conditions and fair wages.
We believe in fair trade, rewarding those whose skills ensure we produce garments to a level of quality that delights our customer.
