Bristol Charities' mission is to provide opportunities and support for people and communities to improve lives through grants, housing and charitable projects.
We provide excellent quality Almshouse accommodation at a number of sites across Bristol and at a site in Monmouth. All our Almshouse accommodation includes on-site support in a safe community setting.
Our grant-giving programme includes grants to individuals for the following purposes; Relief in Need, Relief in Sickness & Disability, Relief for Carers and the Advancement of Education. We also provide organisational grants to certain carers' organisations and educational establishments.
We run Community Development projects, for people aged 50+, to facilitate inspiring social activities that enrich lives, reduce isolation and promote active participation.
