Britannia Woods Community Services (formerly Britannia Woods Community House) is a trusted, community-rooted nonprofit based in Ottawa’s west end. For over 45 years, we’ve been proud to serve the families of the Britannia Woods neighbourhood—and since 2015, we’ve expanded our reach to offer programs citywide. Our work is grounded in our mission: to deliver innovative, accessible, and culturally responsive support—through an equity-focused lens—to individuals, families, and communities. Whether it’s through after-school programs, culturally informed mental health supports, food access, or community advocacy, we meet people where they are—with empathy, respect, and a deep connection to our community’s diversity. What We Offer: - Child & Youth Programs – Educational and recreational programs that build confidence, leadership, and belonging. - Mental Health & Wellness – Culturally grounded supports that promote healing and resilience. - Food Bank – Monthly emergency food support, as part of the Ottawa Food Bank network. - Community Engagement – Resident leadership, advocacy, and spaces for connection and care.
