British Marine is a privately owned and run business specialising in dry bulk ship owning, operations and management. The Group celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2024. Since our inception in 1999, we have developed a reputation for prudent investment decision-making, expert vessel management, and high-level professionalism across our entire operation. Over the course of the last 25 years, we have owned 20+ vessels including commissioning 9 newbuild vessels, all from top-tier Japanese shipyards, as well as undertaking extensive S&P activity in the second-hand market and chartering in significant numbers of vessels. Our in-house commercial and technical management platform (a Joint-Venture with Reuben Brothers – RB British Marine), is industry leading. The joint venture currently manages 16 vessels. The wider group has also built on its extensive experience and diversified into projects focusing on dry commodities that complement its core business and expertise.
