We are the oldest plywood manufacturing company in Italy and one of the leaders today in the production of poplar plywood for the automotive, marine and furniture industries in Europe. Our 'quality is deeply rooted' in the family that over three generations has guided us, in the long-lasting relationships we have built with our clients and in our attention to sustainability issues. Founded in 1929, A. Brivio Compensati saw the great potential of poplar as a plantation tree and gained confidence in its many technical advantages in comparison to other species such as durability, ductility and lightweight. We consider ourselves tailors in the market for our ability to engineer plywood that responds to our clients’ most demanding needs and the special attention we place on producing a product of the highest quality. The 40+ years long relationships we have developed with clients from all over the world in various industries, especially the caravan, motorhome, DIY and boatbuilding industry are a result of these efforts. 80% of our production is currently exported. Caring for the environment has always distinguished our work as we adopted agricultural techniques that comply to the strictest environmental regulations such as PEFC and 100%Poplar Made in Italy, made investments to reduce our carbon footprint with solar energy and have incentivised poplar cultivation through a partnership programme of our making. Our company is currently ISO 9001 certified.
