More than 15 years ago, Andrew Chinn, a simple broker, asked, “How could I store and find information easily?” Since credit policies came from different sources, he wanted a designated place to find all these. With a small team, Andrew created Brokerpedia to fulfill his vision. It became a platform wherein he saved the data he needed. With the search bar on Brokerpedia, looking for the information and files he stored was convenient for Andrew. As Andrew realized the importance of Brokerpedia in performing his duties as a broker efficiently, he decided that it’s a platform he wanted to share with other brokers. He hoped that Brokerpedia could help other brokers, just as he had experienced. With other brokers entering the Brokerpedia platform, it also improved. Feedback from early users was used to add more features and tools that are essential to brokering. What started as a personal tool of one broker is now used by thousands. Now, more than a decade since its conception, Brokerpedia has about 15,000 users and six main features. As our dedicated team ponder over the needs of modern brokers and conceptualize ideas, users can look forward to new features.
