I have been gaining experience in structural drafter over my career and have been learning intently within my previous employment with Revit. I enjoy building 3D models and love getting down to the 2D detailing. Connections, reinforcement, structural steel, timber, concrete, masonry and everything in between. I pay a lot of attention to detail while drafting and take pride in the documentation that I output and issue to clients.
I aim for consistency and order throughout my drawings to ensure ease and efficiency of reading and understanding the requirements. This reduces the number of RFI's from contractors and gives a greater peace of mind that structures will be constructed accurately and reduce time dealing with mistakes and rectifications.
