Brooklyn Networks

Brooklyn Networks is a rigorous training program that teaches the fundamentals needed to become Certified Cable Technicians. NYC residents will be able to learn about principles of transmission, pathways and spaces, cable terminations, etc. in the program as we teach theoretical and hands-on instruction following the BICSI Level 1 curriculum. We offer BICSI Level 1 Cable Installer, 30-hour OSHA, and 10-hour SST certifications for free as part of the program. We also offer job readiness training and job placement support for up to 2 years after completing the program. While obtaining certifications, this is a paid internship as the participants will be working on projects to outfit a training facility while training and learning the fundamentals to work as Certified Cable Technicians. We have 4 cycles per year, which those interested can sign up and be considered for a seat. We also offer free services to employers and recruiters to provide certified technicians for your company.
