The Brother Group of Nagoya, Japan is a truly multinational company with manufacturing plants, offices, sales network and service points in more than 40 countries around the world. Originally founded over 100 years ago in Nagoya, Japan, Brother’s first European base was established in Ireland in 1958. This was at a time when it made a whole range of products, from typewriters to motorbikes! In 1968, the company took over the Jones Sewing Machine factory to make Manchester the new home of Brother UK. And to this day it is still producing the sewing machines that made it famous, as well as a range of industry-leading office technologies and business solutions. As a member of the multinational Brother Group, Brother CEE is responsible for various operations (marketing, sales, logistics, technical support) across 14 countries: Poland, Czech, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Hercegovina, Montenegro, Serbia, Macedonia, Albania and Moldova with the Head Office based in Vienna, Austria.
