The Brown Socially Responsible Investment Fund (SRIF) is a student-led investment fund managing around $250,000 of Brown University’s Endowment.
Our investment discipline screens environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria alongside financial performance to generate long-term financial returns and mitigate external risks.
SRIF invests in financial instruments deemed socially responsible, and, in doing so, we educate our members on topics pertaining to finance, social entrepreneurship, corporate governance, management, and business practice.
We convene Tuesday evenings at 8:30pm for Stock Pitches in Friedman Hall 208. New members are always welcome! No financial background is necessary to join as we will teach you everything! Join our email list through our website to learn about when we have education sessions.
