Bruin Algorithmic Traders

Bruin Algorithmic Traders (BAT) is UCLA’s premier student-run quantitative finance and algorithmic research organization. Our members share a strong passion for markets, data-driven strategies, and quantitative analysis. Through hands-on projects and collaborative research, BAT bridges the gap between theoretical finance and real-world quantitative problem-solving. We develop and explore systematic trading strategies, market microstructure, and financial data science while fostering a community of students interested in quantitative finance, data science, and applied mathematics.
