BruinLabs is a virtual venture initiation summer program run by Bruin Entrepreneurs. Participants will design their own venture and work on making it a success through product development and business savvy with their teams, while also engaging in a series of specialized workshops and panels on early-stage startups. Each group will consist of 3-5 students supported by a Project Manager who will help the participants and act as the team’s guide throughout the 8-week entrepreneurial process. The program begins July 3rd and will conclude on August 28th with a demo day where teams will pitch to a panel of venture capitalists. But wait, there’s a twist: Throughout the program there will be four modules, at the conclusion of each module the worst performing team will be disqualified. All teams will be expected to submit progress reports at the ends of these 2 week modules making an argument for why they should stay in the program.
